Steve Jervis’s musical journey is a testament to his versatility and dedication, from mastering pop and rock styles to performing in large swing bands. He has captivated audiences previously in the duo Acoustic Graffiti, playing at prestigious venues including a sell-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe and performing at Manchester, Wigan, Southport and Cheltenham Jazz festivals & BBC Live Event. Recently relocated from the Northwest to the Southeast he has teamed up with Dave Reay to show his skill in Gypsy, Latin, Soul and the composition of original material.

Dave Reay’s playing career began with his jazz-inflected arrangements of folk and blues songs in the duo Galliard. Praised by Rock ‘n’ Reel magazine for “virtuosity and versatility – sheer damned class”, they toured nationally and received airplay on BBC Radio 2. A developing interest in improvisation led him to a study of gypsy jazz, then on to an exploration of more modern American players such as Joe Pass and Larry Coryell. His performances and compositions today embrace a number of styles, modern jazz, gypsy, Latin and soul. He’s played high-profile venues such as Soho Pizza Express and the Edinburgh fringe, the Garden of England jazz festival and a host of clubs and festivals around London, the South-East and beyond.
